Who we are

Built by students, for the craft.

Team Njord is a group of welding students at Everett Community College (EvCC). This site documents our capstone project, our process, and our progress.

We chose this build to put our skills to the test — and to prove we can read, understand, and follow detailed fabrication plans from start to finish. To showcase real welding craftsmanship, the entire boat is TIG welded, and every component was shaped and dressed by hand with metalworking tools for precise, tight fit-up before the final welds.
